Spirit of the Hand is located in beautiful Dandridge, Tennessee. Our Town is the second oldest town in the state and is situated on the banks of Douglas Lake. The lake is a main tributary reservoir in the TVA system and was formed when the French Broad River was dammed. The lake that was created has over 500 miles of shoreline set amid the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains. This historic settlement was named after the nation's original First Lady, Martha Dandridge Washington. Driving directions to Spirit of the Hand and our wonderful area are listed below:

From Knoxville: Take I-40 east towards Asheville, NC. Take Exit 417 (Jefferson City - Dandridge). Turn right and go 3.5 miles. We are on the right.

From Asheville: Take 1-40 west towards Knoxville. Take Exit 424 (White Pine - Dandridge). Turn right, go back under the interstate and take a right on Hwy 25/70. Go 3.5 miles. We are on your left.
